Hunyuan-MT is Tencent Hunyuan’s open-source machine translation suite, pairing a 7B cloud model with a 1.8B edge model. The 7B version won 30 categories at WMT2025 and lands near closed-source rivals on Flores200; the 1.8B version ships quantized weights and runs offline on consumer hardware. Together they translate over 33 languages and dialects and natively support terminology intervention and format-preserving translation.
