Z-Image is an open image generation model family from Tongyi-MAI, built around a 6B single-stream diffusion Transformer. Its backbone stays full-capacity and non-distilled, keeping the full training signal and CFG support, so style coverage and output diversity stay wide for prompt engineering and fine-tuning. Faster variants such as Z-Image-Turbo join it, and ModelScope hosts an endpoint with a daily call allowance.
