Smart Projectors
Smart projectors, judged on buying and everyday use: what brightness figures really mean, how much work auto-focus and keystone correction actually save, and where streaming apps, speakers and fan noise cut corners.
A smart projector packs the light source, the streaming system and a sensing camera into one body: it focuses itself on start-up, steers the picture around wall sockets and squares the image even when placed at an angle. What it saves is the setup fiddling after every move; what it cannot save is dim output, because a weak brightness figure stays weak behind drawn curtains at noon, so the room's light comes before the smart features.
