Replit is a browser-based AI software platform that chains an online workspace, a coding agent and managed deployment into a path to launch. Developers talk to Replit Agent to analyse needs and debug code, then publish the app as a service with a custom domain. The friction sits in deployment: code that runs in the workspace does not always run in production, so production Secrets, port mapping and health checks often need another pass.
