Google Disco
Breaks down Disco, Google Labs’ experimental browsing project, and its first feature GenTabs, showing how open tabs become small usable apps and what the waitlist and privacy notes mean.
Disco is an experimental browsing project from Google Labs, and its first feature, GenTabs, remixes the tabs you already have open into interactive mini web apps for trip planning, topic research or study notes. Built on Gemini 3, it lets you keep editing components in natural language, keeps links back to the source pages, and opens only through a small waitlist for now.
