FLUX is the image generation and editing model family from Black Forest Labs (bfl.ai), whose flow-matching Transformer pushes photorealism, lighting and spatial logic closer to real photography. FLUX.2 unifies text-to-image and image editing in one architecture, supporting up to roughly ten reference images, 4MP output and complex typography. The open-weight dev build self-hosts, while the commercial API and Playground cover hosted needs.
