Hermes Agent browser tools are always blocked by websites, not necessarily a prompt problem, many times it is the wrong choice of browsing backend. The official Browser documentation now has a complete backend: Browserbase, Browser Use, Firecrawl, Camofox, local Chrome CDP, and local Chromium can be connected, and different websites are much less tolerant of them.
How to change when intercepted
- Research and login sites give priority to Browserbase, and the official documentation states that it comes with stealth, residential proxies, and CAPTCHA handling.
- If you want to do a local anti-test, try Camofox.
- If you want to reuse the login state in your own browser, you can connect to your local Chrome directly with
/browser connect. - Just when grabbing static information, don't force the browser, prefer
web_searchorweb_extract, it's cheaper and more stable.
In a word: being blocked by a website does not necessarily mean that the Hermes Agent browser is broken, first change the backend mode, and then decide whether to continue to gnaw on that site.
