Muse Launches Spaces: Describe an Idea, Get Your Own Mini-App — Sharing Still on the Way

On November 6, 2026, Meta introduced spaces in the Muse app: describe an idea in a sentence, and Muse builds a custom experience inside the app — a holiday gift tracker, a daily word game, a DIY planning board, anything of the sort — which you can then keep adjusting, changing its content, look and behavior. This is not another chat window but a personal space that stays put and can be reopened again and again, available from today everywhere Muse is offered.

What you can build

Meta's examples fall into two groups. One is everyday life: a shopping hub that pulls together Instagram saves, wishlists and Marketplace listings and buyer messages; a school dashboard that finds relevant events in your kids' school emails and adds them to the calendar; plus music tracking, wedding planning and trip planning. The other is small tools and games: a daily word game, trivia quizzes about your favorite movies or team, a podcast studio, an order tracker for a small business, a client hub for freelancers. Zuckerberg says he has already built three himself: a barbecue game, an event tracker and a home control dashboard.

How it differs from an ordinary chat

Three differences matter. First, a space persists: what you build stays in the app, can be pinned to the sidebar or main tabs, hidden when not needed, and arranged by schedule — a weekly planner up front on weekdays, weekend plans on Saturday. Second, a space updates itself: connect the apps you use, and concert dates, price changes and savings progress sync in the background without you having to ask again. Third, a space is personal: Meta says it is for individual use for now, with sharing and collaboration still being explored, and outside actions such as sending email or placing orders remain subject to Muse's existing permission and confirmation rules.

What to watch next

Spaces is Muse's second new feature within a week, after voice chat, which launched on November 5 — how to use Muse voice chat. The same day, Meta also began rolling out specialized models trained with Muse Wonder learnings to Muse and Meta AI — what changed when Muse switched to the specialized models. For users, the real test is whether the spaces they build are stable and accurate enough — if they turn out to be chat history in a new skin, spaces will soon be forgotten; if they genuinely gather information scattered across apps into one place, Muse will have grown from a chatbot into a personal workbench.
