If you find that someone else already has ChatGPT Connectors in their account, but you can't see your Plus or Pro at all, it doesn't necessarily mean that Grayscale hasn't turned on your turn, or that the settings aren't turned on. OpenAI's current help center and update notes repeatedly mention a key boundary: many Connectors features are restricted to Plus and Pro users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland.
This is why many people have the illusion that "it's all Pro, why don't I have it". The problem is not necessarily in the package itself, but most likely in your area. In particular, the newly opened chat search connectors, certain apps, and some connector capabilities on the Pro/Plus side are now being released by OpenAI.
Therefore, the order of the investigation should be changed first:
1. Check the availability of your current account first.
2. Look at whether you are missing Chat, Deep Research, or Synced Connector.
3. Finally, consider whether the workspace administrator or personal settings are not open.
Many users go to clear the cache, change browsers, and find hidden entrances as soon as they come up, but if you are in a restricted area, these operations usually do not let the function appear out of thin air.
Another point that is easy to overlook: the coverage rules for Business, Enterprise, and Edu are not exactly the same as for Personal Plus/Pro. Just because you see someone else's company account does not mean that your own personal Pro should also have it.
If you just want to determine if you are "really lacking features", the fastest way is not to blind guess, but to compare OpenAI's connector availability table to see if your plan and region are within the support range. For accounts outside the scope of support, it is normal that there is no entrance in the interface.
So ChatGPT Connectors can't see it, don't default to a broken account first. For Plus and Pro users, regions are the most common watershed.
