Why does Midjourney Fast time feel like it's gone all at once? The official documentation actually explains it very clearly. GPU Speed (Fast, Relax, Turbo) states that Fast GPU Time is a GPU quota that is reset every month in your subscription, which is gone when it runs out and does not carry over to the next month. Combined with Info Command and Comparing Midjourney Plans , it's easier to understand what the problem is.
What really eats time is often not as simple as "drawing a few more pictures"
If you turn on Turbo, the official says it will be calculated as double the Fast time; If you use '--repeat' or permutations again, these will pull the Fast time down very quickly. So many people will think that "I didn't draw much", but in fact, the generation mode and parameters have eaten up the quota.
This is the most trouble-free to investigate first
- Use
/infoto see the remaining Fast time and the current pattern. - Make sure you still have the Turbo on.
- If you are Standard, Pro, or Mega, switch to Relax for normal plotting.
This kind of problem is not Midjourney deducting fees, but more of a problem where you treat fast mode as the default workflow and keep running. If you cut the mode correctly and close the parameters, the fast time will usually not drop so exaggeratedly.
